Supported Living
Living independently doesn’t have to mean going it alone. Illinois MENTOR provides Supported Living programs that help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live safely in their own home or provide a more independent option for those who have previously lived in Host Homes or other residential settings.
Our programs are designed to enable each person to preserve and build upon their life skills, increase their confidence and independence and enhance their quality of life.
Supporting Independence
Supported Living services are provided by trained staff and tailored to the needs and goals of each person. We can provide as much or as little support as needed. The goal is literally to support the independent living arrangements of the individuals we serve to ensure they can participate in community activities and vocational programs, all of which provide for a greater sense of personal independence and identity.
