Services in Your Community
We have programs throughout the state that help individuals of all abilities build increasingly rich, independent lives in the communities they call home.
Our Services
We provide services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities that emphasize community integration and choice while recognizing the specialized and often complex needs of the individuals we support. With more than 20 years of experience in providing community-based services to people with developmental disabilities, Illinois MENTOR is particularly skilled at assessment and program planning, as well as at helping individuals transition into their community from more restrictive settings.
We offer a variety of individualized supports for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including case management, day habilitation, and other services through the following community-based programs:
In addition, Illinois MENTOR provides Community Integrated Living Arrangements (CILAs). In these highly personalized residential settings, individuals are supported 24/7 by a dedicated team of direct service professionals. Our CILA homes can accommodate between one and four individuals, depending upon each person’s needs and preferences and the home’s design.
Our goal is to provide the highest quality of services to all individuals. This includes a combination of skill development, counseling, support, personal care, and assistance in any area that promotes successful community living. In keeping with our mission, Illinois MENTOR strives for each individual to achieve his or her greatest potential for self-sufficiency, empowerment, and quality of life. We have a commitment to offering choice and individualized services, respect for diversity and heritage, and unfaltering regard for the safety and welfare of the individuals we support.
