For more than 25 years, it has been our distinct privilege to support children and youth in need of tailored, therapeutic interventions and nurturing community-based supports aimed at achieving permanency and stability. After a great deal of reflection and consideration in light of the changing child welfare policy dynamics in the state, we have discontinued our child welfare services in Illinois. We remain proud of our long-term track record and reputation as a reliable partner to DCFS and quality provider to Illinois’ most vulnerable children.
This action does NOT affect Illinois MENTOR Community Services programs serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and other complex challenges. These services will continue uninterrupted and without change as a result of this decision.
We thank our state partners, team members, and foster parents for their dedication over these many years. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to serve the youth and families of Illinois. If you have any questions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
